Project Abstract: The Airport Way Commons project was a success on many levels. This tilt-up was the first tilt for which KeyWay Corp self-performed the coordination, construction and erection of the tilt-up panels. This permitted KWC to further develop the core competencies of key personnel, as well as allowing us to deliver the building at a significant savings.

Project Challenges: As this was the first tilt for most of the concrete crew, much of the success of the job depended on the substantial experience of the managing members of the project. The project also contained elements such as loading docks and exterior canopies which required precise coordination and preplanning of underground utilities.
